Fournette’s best games as a Jaguar

The Jaguars community is mourning another loss of a fellow draft pick. This time its 2017 4th overall pick Leonard Fournette. Early Monday morning, the jaguars waived running back Leonard Fournette. Recently, He’s officially become a free agent after clearing waivers.

In the three seasons as the Jaguars running back, He’s had an roller coaster relationship with the Jaguars. For example, His rookie season, He burst upon the scene. In 13 games for the Jaguars had over 1000 yards with nine touchdowns. He also rose above the occasion in the 2017 playoffs as he led all running backs in the postseason with 242 yards. Then there were the downs. In 2018, He had A lingering hamstring that limited him to eight games and was suspended by the NFL for one game for fighting Shaq Lawson. Not to mention, According to Mike Florio of NBC Sports, Fournette filed a grievance against the jaguars over the voiding his guarantees and not resolving the issue due to language that isn’t clear in his contract with the terms for his suspension in 2018.

In the 2019 season, Leonard Fournette looked to be turning the corner as he came back to camp focus and healthier from his training in Wyoming. As a result, he averaged career highs in rushing yards(1152) yards per average(4.3), and catches(76). This leads us to the 2020 season, where he will be focusing on his next step in his career in another uniform. He ends his career with the Jaguars with 2,631 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Divisional Round – Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers – January 14th, 2018

The rematch that both teams wanted. Big Ben looking to avenge his loss to the Jaguars earlier in the season. The jaguars wanting to prove it wasn’t a fluke. Leonard Fournette came to play and performed well with 25 carries for 109 yards with three touchdowns as the Jaguars won 45-42 to advance to the AFC championship.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Denver Broncos – September 29th, 2019

This game Leonard Fournette took over. With the team down 6 to 17 at halftime. The Jaguars rode the running game with Leonard Fournette. With the help of Leonard Fournette, who rushed for a career-high of 225 yards. The Jaguars were able to win the game 26-24.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals – October 20th, 2019

In a hard-fought game, Leonard Fournette proved to be very consistent offensively for the jaguars as he Helped in overcoming a late defect to beat the Bengals. Leonard Fournette had 29 carries for 131 yards.
